Saturday 9th January the Penfield Quarterscale Club Hosted the South Australian Dirt Modified State Title, with a huge 9 Victorians making there way down the Western Highway to compete.
Great Racing all night saw 8 out of the 9 Victorians make it into the 12 strong A Main Final. Great racing by our new comers with Laird and Corey making there way through the B Main to start out of 11 and 12 in the A Main.
Hard luck story must go to Conrod (Jason), nothing seem to work for the poor guy all night, from stripped spur gears to stripped bolts to a blown engine which eventually finished his night.
The stand out for the night was Dean Rogers in the V28 with 4 Heat Race Wins and a win in the A Main Final, with John Wiggins coming in 2nd and the South Australian of Shane Stevens rounding out the Top 3.
Well done to ALL the Victorians that competed, was a great night had by all.
